Midwest Classic Racers (MCR), the OVDCA's neighbors to the north, sanction Classic Modified Dwarf Car racing events throughout the state of Michigan, and many of their members have participated with the OVDCA in the past. For 2002, MCR has joined forces with the OVDCA and the BIDCA to bring pavement racers additional racing opportunities via the "Great Lakes Series" featuring events hosted by each club.

The Badger-Illini Dwarf Car Association (BIDCA) sanctions Classic Modified Dwarf Car Racing events in Illinois, and is also partnering with the OVDCA to co-sanction the Great Lakes Racing Series.
